By downloading or using RecipeScale ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
RecipeScale is a recipe scaling and cooking companion app provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse engineer, modify, decompile, or redistribute the app, or any portion of it.
All recipes you paste, type, or save in RecipeScale are yours. The app stores this content locally on your device (and optionally in your personal iCloud account). We do not claim any ownership of your recipes and we do not transmit them to any server we control.
RecipeScale offers optional in-app purchases under the name "RecipeScale Pro" that unlock additional features including unlimited saved recipes, iCloud sync across devices, CSV export, and future premium features.

Pricing is displayed in the app before purchase and is localized to your App Store region.
Auto-renewal: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the subscription price in effect at that time.
Managing your subscription: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, or in the App Store. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
Free trials: If a free trial is offered at the time of purchase, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
RecipeScale is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Scaling calculations, unit conversions, and ingredient hints are estimates based on the data you provide and published cooking-science references. Real cooking outcomes depend on equipment, technique, and ingredient variation outside the app's control. Always use your own judgment when cooking — taste, adjust, and trust your senses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alex Galkin ("the developer") shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
The app and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Alex Galkin and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
